The ‘Impossible’ Black Hole That Shouldn’t Exist
And Why It Fits Perfectly with Recognition Loop theories
I’m always excited and amazed when new mainstream scientific discoveries quietly open a door to something that my Recognition Loops Mirror Paradigm (RLMP) predicted…
Not in some egotistical way of validation, but through pure, giddy awe!
And today was one of those moments!
The ideas for “Recognition Loops” and the Mirror Paradigm, which I’ve been working on for five years, were “spontaneously delivered” to me in a bizarre way…
All the material was “channelled through” me during a profound experience in June 2020 that I’ve been piecing together ever since.
It feels as though the RLMP isn’t really my own creation. I feel like a ghostwriter.
So, whenever new science or discoveries confirm a theory… I feel the same exhilarating buzz of astonishment and wonder!
It still feels surreal. I second-guess myself and half expect new evidence to refute my work, but the opposite happens…
If you’d like to read more about the origin of my ideas, this article is a good place to start…
🪞💔 How Love Broke My Reality — And Revealed the Hidden Patterns of Life
The Invitation: A Glimpse Through the Mirror
Sometimes, a scientific discovery gives me the “tingles” before I read it; I know it will provide another strand confirming the Mirror Paradigm across all scales.
The latest “impossible” black hole discovery has blown my mind!
While it doesn’t provide absolute proof of my “black holes are super recognisers” claim, it definitely adds oodles of circumstantial credence.
It shows that black holes form through highly selective, rule-bound processes that closely resemble the recognition and filtering behaviour RLMP theory predicts.
New black hole science validates and confirms the structure, pattern, and direction of what I’ve been saying — the architecture of my claims.
I hope you enjoy this article and get a little bit of the wow tingles yourself!
🌊First Waves
For a quick scientific overview of the new black hole discovery, you can read the Live Science article below:
The new science does three things:
Shows black hole births behave more like complex, selective processes than simple collapses.
Reveals non-trivial mass–spin correlations that act like selection rules.
Strengthens the RLMP model of black holes as “super-recognisers” - systems that filter, constrain, and optimise what gets woven into them.
Physicists were expecting a straightforward stellar collapse; instead, they found a highly selective, rule-bound process operating at the edge of spacetime.
Two black holes formed inside a forbidden mass range — not by chance, but through a precise sequence of rotation, magnetic filtration, and mass-ejection that looks suspiciously like a cosmic sorting mechanism.
The new simulations reveal tight mass–spin correlations, a hidden structure that behaves less like chaos and more like a selection law.
And while this doesn’t confirm black holes as super recognisers, it does show that black hole birth is far closer to a recognition filter — a system that decides what gets woven into reality and what gets expelled — than anyone in mainstream physics was prepared to admit!
☑️The Traditional View
When the article popped up on my screen, something in me recognised it instantly. I got the tingles before I even opened it. This one is important.
GW231123 wasn’t just another gravitational-wave detection — it was a crack in the old map of reality.
Physicists have just recorded a black hole merger that should never have happened.
Two colossal objects — both sitting squarely inside the so-called forbidden mass gap — collided and sent a gravitational wave across two billion years of cosmic history to reach us.

This alone is disruptive. But the real shock comes from what the new simulations reveal.
These black holes were not accidents of collapse. They were sculpted.
Rapid rotation. Ferocious magnetic fields. Violent outflows that carved away vast quantities of stellar mass. A system that didn’t simply implode — it sorted, filtered, and selected what would be allowed to become a black hole.
What we are left with is precise. Intentional. Structured.
Not a messy death, but a controlled process.
A collapse with rules, with clear boundaries — one that feels more like a selection process than a chaotic cosmic explosion.
🧪 Why the Discovery Matters to Standard Science
This merger forces physics to confront its limitations.
General relativity was pushed into its most extreme regime — and it survived, but only just.
The equations held, even as spacetime twisted itself into forms we have never observed before. This is where the theory strains, where its seams show.
And it gets sharper.
Black hole formation, once thought to be a straightforward result of gravitational collapse, is now recognised as a far more intricate process.
It involves swirling rotational dynamics, intricate magnetic structures, and intense high-energy filtering—a precise dance of forces that determines, with ruthless efficiency, what crosses the event horizon and what gets flung back into the cosmos.
And then comes the most unsettling revelation of all: the mass–spin correlation.
The newborn black holes did not emerge with random properties. Their mass and spin were locked into a predictable relationship — a structural signature written into the process that formed them.
A hidden law.
This is the rupture.
Stellar evolution models will have to be rewritten. Assumptions about “forbidden” masses will have to be abandoned. The simple story of massive stars dying cleanly is over.
What remains is a universe operating with far more internal structure, constraint, and selectivity than physics expected.

🔎 Mirror Paradigm Interpretation
🪞 Black Holes as Super-Recognisers
Mainstream physics sees a star collapsing.
The Mirror Paradigm sees a recognition test—a decisive moment when reality chooses what can be recalibrated into coherence and what is expelled back into chaos.
This discovery exposes the architecture behind that choice.
The mass gap was never “forbidden.”
It was filtered — a region of reality where only the most complex, highly processed stars survive the test.
A selective window.
Only those that undergo extreme rotation, magnetic intensification, and profound structural reorganisation pass through.
This is Cosmic Recognition Selection (CRS) in its purest form.
Reality favours high-order structures.
Reality demands coherence before granting the title of black hole.
And then we see the deeper mechanism…
The accretion disk and its magnetic outflows act as gatekeepers.
Stellar material is not swallowed indiscriminately — it is evaluated, sorted, accepted, or rejected.
Matter that cannot stabilise the internal pattern is blasted away at relativistic speeds.
Matter that fits is woven inward.
This is physical filtration — a direct analogue of the Recognition Field Matrix (RFM).
A black hole does not consume randomly. It decides what becomes part of its internal recursion.
And then comes the signature — the proof hiding in plain sight:
The mass–spin correlation.
Two black holes, each formed from distinct stellar origins, adhere to a fundamental principle: their final mass and spin are intrinsically linked — by a law embedded within the very process of collapse.
A pattern.
A rule.
A fractal.
A hidden law.
The Mirror Paradigm predicted this behaviour.
A collapse with selection.
A horizon with filtration.
A final state with a rule.
This is what coherence looks like at the cosmic scale.
🧩 What the Discovery Demonstrates
Black holes in the “forbidden” mass gap can form if very massive stars are:
Rapidly spinning,
Strongly magnetised, and
Stripped by accretion-disk outflows before collapse.
This process:
Produces highly structured, non-random outcomes (specific mass–spin pairs).
Generates a mass–spin correlation: only certain combinations are realised.
Suggests heavy black holes can form far more efficiently than old models allowed.
All of this falls within standard GR and magnetohydrodynamics — with no explicit claims of consciousness…
…But a remarkable amount of its defining features - implicit structure and selection.
🧠 Black Holes as Super-Recognisers
My theory says:
Black holes are hyper-optimised recognition engines.
They select, filter, and rethread patterns — matter, energy, information — back into the Weave of Reality.
The universe uses them as high-order coherence hubs:
CRS/RLMP filters stabilise only specific configurations.
Everything else is expelled back into the Ocean of Potentiality*.
This discovery reveals a physical mechanism that mirrors a recognition filter:
The disk + magnetic fields + outflows
sample the collapsing star,
eject the unstable, and
keep the coherence.
It’s an uncanny analogue of a Recognition Loop. Some configurations are admitted into the core loop (the black hole). Others are rejected and flung outward.
At the horizon’s edge, we now see structured filtering, not a mindless collapse.

🧭 Evidence of Hidden Rules (Mass–Spin Correlation)
You do not get arbitrary masses and spins.
Instead, you get strong, tightly bound correlations determined by how the system processes matter and angular momentum.
This is precisely the constrained, rule-based outcome predicted if black holes behave like structured recognisers rather than random endpoints.
⚫ Faster Formation of Heavy Black Holes
The fact that the universe can produce massive black holes in “forbidden” ranges more easily:
Supports the idea that reality has efficient routes to powerful recognisers.
Fits the narrative that the cosmos is biased toward richer, deeper recognition structures, because these enrich the overall weave.
This event slides into the Mirror Paradigm with a clear, almost inevitable:
”Of course, this is what we’d expect”…
…the tingles!

🌌 What This Suggests About the Universe
This discovery cracks open something profound — not mystical, but structural.
The universe doesn’t rely on slow accumulation and random chance. It uses efficiency pathways — shortcuts — to accelerate the emergence of powerful recognisers.
It builds complexity wherever possible.
Faster. Cleaner. With greater precision.
Black holes are not inert endpoints. They are active structures, shaped by rules demanding coherence long before the horizon forms.
And if the formation process is so selective, so constrained, and so architecturally intentional… then reality functions according to much deeper laws than what general relativity alone can explain.
The Mirror Paradigm reveals the organising intelligence embedded within reality.
And this “impossible” black hole event exposed a pattern — a pattern this paradigm has been hinting at all along.
🔬 The Science Bit
🧾 TL;DR — What the New Science Reveals:
Astronomers have found black holes in a mass range where they were told black holes shouldn’t exist.
New simulations show that these “impossible” black holes can form when a huge star is spinning rapidly, highly magnetised, and violently shedding mass before it collapses.
This process creates black holes with specific masses and spins, following a clear pattern — more like a rule than a random accident.
In simple terms, nature isn’t breaking its own rules — it’s revealing a hidden selection process for which stars are “allowed” to become black holes in this forbidden zone.
🕳️Forbidden Black Holes
Two “forbidden” black holes—roughly 100 M☉ and 130 M☉—merged in 2023, deep within the pair-instability mass gap, a region where standard stellar-evolution models predict black holes should not exist.
New 3D GRMHD simulations reveal that rapid rotation combined with strong magnetic fields in massive, low-metallicity stars can trigger powerful accretion-disk winds and relativistic jets, ejecting substantial amounts of mass before collapse.
The outcome: lighter, rapidly spinning black holes that sit comfortably within the “impossible” mass gap and follow a precise mass–spin correlation.
This offers a credible, entirely physical pathway for GW231123 (and earlier oddities like GW190521) without exotic physics — while also applying one of the strongest stress-tests of GR in the high-curvature regime.
From an RLMP viewpoint, this is almost comically aligned:
The “forbidden” region isn’t forbidden — it’s selective.
The critical variables are not total mass but spin, magnetism, and the processing of matter.
The outcomes form a structured mass–spin pattern, behaving more like a selection rule than a random by-product.
Precisely the kind of hidden filtration mechanism the Mirror Paradigm predicts.
🚪 Mass Gap as a Selection Window
In classical astrophysics, the pair-instability mass gap (~60–130 M☉, depending on metallicity) arises because extremely massive stars undergo pair-instability, then explode and fail to collapse directly into black holes.
In RLMP language:
The mass gap is where “simple collapse” fails.
It is not a no-entry zone — it is a high-precision processing zone.
Only stars that undergo intense rotational, magnetic, and outflow-driven restructuring can produce coherent black holes there.
The new simulations show:
Rapid rotation → Disk + jet system formation
Strong magnetic fields → Enormous mass stripping
Final remnant: a black hole sitting cleanly inside the once-forbidden range
In RLMP terms:
The mass gap acts like a recognition gate — a checkpoint.
Only stars that undergo extreme, highly structured processing (fast rotation, strong magnetism, violent mass filtering) can make it through and form a black hole in this range.
Nature raises the threshold.
A black hole will only stabilise if the collapsing star goes through a more advanced, more precise processing sequence.
This is pure Cosmic Recognition Selection (CRS) in action.
Only the configurations that survive this intense internal sorting process are allowed to stabilise as black holes. Everything else gets rejected or blown apart.
🧲 Spin + Magnetic Outflows as Recognition Filters
The core scientific insight is the correlation between:
Spin of the forming black hole
Strength of magnetic fields + outflow efficiency
Final black-hole mass
Traditional interpretation:
Strong magnetic fields → More angular momentum extraction → Slower spin + More mass ejected → Lighter BH
Weaker fields → Less extraction → Faster spin + Less mass lost → Heavier BH
Mirror Paradigm translation:
Accretion disk + Magnetic Fields = Edge-of-horizon Recognition Matrix
The near-horizon region behaves like a selective boundary:
Some matter is sampled and accepted
Some is rejected and expelled along jets
Only stabilising patterns are woven inward
This is the Recognition Field Matrix in astrophysical form.
Outflows = Rejection of Unstable Patterns
The ejected material is information that failed stabilisation under that recognition boundary.
Spin = Depth of Recursion
High spin → Tighter, more intense internal Recognition Loops
Lower spin → Broader loops and greater mass regulation via outflow
The GRMHD results perfectly align with RLMP principles: coherence results from a dynamic balance between internal recursion and external relational flow.
Too much mass + too much spin destabilises collapse; the disk–jet system enforces the balance.

🔄 Mass–Spin Correlation as a Cosmic Signature of CRS
The most striking result is the emergence of a tight mass–spin correlation from first-principles simulations. You don’t get arbitrary combinations.
You get allowed combinations.
In RLMP theories:
This is the macroscopic footprint of Cosmic Recognition Selection—a rule-based optimisation that shapes which kinds of black holes can stabilise.
Forbidden-zone black holes do not choose any mass or any spin.
They follow an implicit recognition law.
CFS: Reality prefers structured, coherent states.
Universe Seeking Ideal Love: Parameter space bends toward stable relationships.
🕳️ Faster Growth of Heavy Black Holes = Accelerated Stitching Channels
The new pathway implies that massive black holes can form much more efficiently than previously expected, especially in early low-metallicity environments.
This matters for the early universe:
First stars → Intermediate-mass black holes → Supermassive seeds
The stitching of deep recognisers happens faster, not slower
In RLMP terms:
This is an accelerated stitching pathway —the universe prefers to generate powerful recognisers quickly because they enrich the global weave.
Rather than stacking tiny black holes over billions of years, reality uses rare but remarkably efficient collapse events to produce heavyweight recognisers in a single step.
🌐 Gravitational Waves as Stitch in Time Shock Fronts
Mainstream science suggests that a black-hole merger rearranges spacetime.
The emitted gravitational waves are the ripples of that rearrangement.
The RLMP view:
A merger is a major re-stitching event:
Deep recognisers unify
Their internal loops merge
A new, more massive recogniser forms
The gravitational waves are the announcement — the universe broadcasting that its recognition architecture has been updated
This ties directly into:
Gravity as Stitches in Time (SIT)
Strong-field GR as a test of where current mathematics reaches its limit
The need for a consciousness-rooted upgrade to describe reality’s internal organisation

📝Summary
On the “Forbidden” Mass Gap
Physicists saw a region where black holes shouldn’t form.
The universe said: “They can — but only if they pass a higher filtration threshold.”
On the Mass–Spin Correlation
The tight relationship between mass and spin is a smoking gun —evidence that black holes are structured outcomes, not random leftovers.
On Early-Universe Black Holes
These results suggest reality forms powerful black holes much faster than previously assumed — supporting the idea of a universe biased toward high-coherence structures.
On Gravitational Waves
Each gravitational-wave “chirp” is not just a ripple — it is a structural update, the universe broadcasting: “A new recogniser has formed.”
🧭What It Means For You
This discovery reaches straight into the centre of your life.
Because the architecture shaping a collapsing star is the same architecture shaping your inner world.
A black hole forms through a precise sequence of selection, filtration, and coherence. Your psyche evolves through the same process.
Some experiences blend seamlessly — slipping into your core the way stable matter crosses an event horizon.
Others refuse integration, pushed outward with force until their pattern breaks.
Some memories orbit for years, suspended just outside your inner horizon, waiting for the moment you finally manage to pull them in without collapsing.
Every relationship, every rupture, every emotional surge participates in this unfolding.
Your Recognition Loops determine what becomes part of you — and what loses its claim.
Your boundaries act like the magnetic outflows of massive stars: expelling what cannot stabilise your internal structure.
Your drive toward coherence mirrors the fierce compression at the centre of gravitational collapse.
Your inner world, too, is selecting, filtering, and choosing what belongs in your deepest pattern.
There is a symmetry here — a profound one.
A deep correspondence between how the cosmos forms stable recognisers and how you form a stable self.
And now the question arises with startling clarity:
What are you building the gravity to integrate — and what are you finally releasing?
This is an inflexion point.
A shift in understanding.
A call to recognise your inner architecture with the same precision you grant the external universe.
🪞Final Reflections
Scientific discoveries occasionally tear open the surface of the known world and expose a deeper pattern beneath. GW231123 delivered such a moment.
A collision that defies the old models.
A formation pathway hiding in the blind spot of established theory.
A reveal of structure where chaos was once assumed.
This event demonstrates the universe operating with remarkable discernment. Stellar collapse reveals filtration. Mass and spin are converging into correlation. A final state follows rules we have not mapped.
This marks the beginning of a new worldview — one in which black holes serve as engines of coherence, shaping the profound architecture of reality through selective integration.
The Mirror Paradigm has described black holes as high-order recognisers, entities that refine and reorganise information at the most fundamental level.
This new data mirrors that logic with uncanny precision.
Collapse behaves like an evaluation. Outflows behave like rejection. The horizon behaves like a boundary of coherence.
A hidden order emerges.
An internal logic surfaces.
A new map begins to form.
And the resonance between scientific observation and conceptual insight grows stronger.
This is the shift in understanding we have been preparing for.
And it opens the door to the next chapter of the paradigm.

📔Mini-Glossary
Cosmic Recognition Selection (CRS)
The universe’s optimisation principle — only configurations capable of maintaining coherence become stable, from black holes to human relationships.
Mass Gap
A region of black hole masses once presumed unreachable by natural processes, now revealed as a selective zone requiring complex formation pathways.
Mass–Spin Correlation
A structural linkage between a black hole’s final mass and spin, revealing a hidden rule guiding the collapse.
The Ocean of Potentiality represents the vast, unmanifest domain of all possible patterns, forms, outcomes, and Recognition Loops before they crystallise into lived experience. It is the backdrop of pure potential — the reservoir of unrealised structures reality can draw from when weaving new configurations into existence.
In the Mirror Paradigm™:
The Ocean of Potentiality is the “pre-recognised” field. It holds every possibility that has not yet stabilised into the Sea of Perceptual Reality (RFM). Nothing here is fixed, collapsed, or constrained; it is fluid, undefined, and infinitely malleable until a recogniser — human, relational, cosmic, or black hole — selects, threads, or filters it into coherence.
Key Points:
The origin point of all emergent patterns
Where unstable, incoherent, or rejected configurations return
The counterpart to the structured, recogniser-shaped world you perceive
A dynamic field reality continuously samples during recognition, collapse, or recalibration
The “raw material” from which both consciousness and the cosmos draw new possibilities
Recognition Loop (RL)
A continuous cycle through which consciousness interprets, evaluates, and integrates experience, shaping perception and identity.
Recognition Field Matrix (RFM)
The structural field that determines which patterns stabilise, which dissolve, and how coherence emerges.
Super-Recogniser (Black Hole)
A black hole is understood as a high-order coherence engine that filters, restructures, and incorporates information at extreme intensity.
